Installing the extension

Install from the Chrome Web Store. After installing, pin the Prompt Enhancer icon to your toolbar so you can open the popup quickly. Open the popup once to set your mode (Bring Your Own Key or Hosted) before using the button.

The Enhance button isn't showing up

"No API key set" error

You're in BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) mode without a key. Open the extension popup, paste an Anthropic API key (get one at console.anthropic.com), or switch the mode to "Hosted" and sign in.

"Sign in required" or "Token expired"

Your extension token has expired or was never pasted. Open the popup, click "Sign in," sign in on promptenhancer.app, copy the token the site shows you, then paste it back into the popup.

Billing and subscriptions

Manage your subscription at /app/billing after signing in. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. For refunds or billing disputes, email jeffrey@promptenhancer.app.

See our Privacy page for what we store. To delete your account and data, email jeffrey@promptenhancer.app from the address on your account and we'll confirm within two business days.
